At the request of an oil/chemical tanker owner, KR’s Ningbo office has provided technical assistance for a model test. The oil/chemical tanker is scheduled for survey during construction at Xile shipyard, which is covered by KR’s Ningbo office.

KR conducted a model test at Shanghai Ship and Shipping Research Institute (SSSRI) at Shanghai, China and held technical seminar on EEDI convention and verification for model testing. (KR China Headquarters, 17 ~ 18 March, 2016)

KR’s Chang-won office has given shipyards and shipowners an introduction and Q & A session on the approval concept of Key Plan, the session covered the important points of interest and problems incurred during survey on a tanker which is now being built. (KR Chang-won office, 4 April 2016)
