To achieve IMO final approval for ECS-HYCHEMTM, one of the TECHCROSS’ new systems, Techcross submitted all the relevant documents to IMO GESAMP last May.

ECS-HYCHEMTM System is designed to treat ballast water using filtration and a chemical disinfectant called NaDCC. The system is expected to attract the owners who have existing vessels with limited space to accommodate BWTS as it has an advantage thanks to its compact size. Besides, ECS-HYCHLORTM System, another new system with indirect electrolysis technology, was  granted IMO final approval last December, 2015 and it has been on the process of the USCG type approval, while ECS-HYBRIDTM with combined disinfection technologies was IMO basic approved last year.
