DSME announced March 6 that it starts Quality incentive program with Statoil.
Statoil is running a quality incentive program to improve project completeness.
Statoil presented the first Quality Award for the Mariner and Gina Krog projects at Daemyung Resort on the 25th of February. Most incentive programs are focused on overall HSE performance for each project. However, this ceremony, hosted by the project owner, was dedicated to presenting a quality award specifically for DSME employees.
DSME employees who are providing their best efforts to enhance quality performance for the Mariner and Gina Krog project, including in and out subcontractors, have a chance to select the prize winner. This award presentation will be held every other month beginning from February 2015.
Mr. Seog Yong Youn, the head of the quality management team, said, “I’m glad to start Statoil’s quality program. It’s significant that this is the first quality award in DSME presented by the owner. DSME has been running the line QC and Q-mileage programs to improve product quality and I hope DSME and Statoil’s quality programs create synergy between the two projects.”
Mr. Anders Falck Oien, the quality and risk manager of Statoil said, “Congratulations to the winners of the first quality award. I hope that you continue to be a key role for advancing the quality on the Mariner and Gina Krog projects. The best quality comes from safe work and good skills. Statoil looks forward to many awardees as a result of this program.”
