All things aquatic moored at BEXCO March 10 to 13.

The nation's favorite boat festival sets sail for the third time this year.

Busan City has partnered with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to host the Busan International Boat Show at BEXCO and Suyeong Bay Yachting Center for four days between March 10 and 13.

The boat show exhibits everything related to marine leisure, from the most advanced yacht engines and accessories to cutting edge nautical technology. Eager seafarers have the chance to glimpse at the latest and greatest in the industry earlier this year than in the two previous years of the show when the event was held in the fall.

Some 120 companies will take over more than 1,000 booths installed in the BEXCO exhibition halls, highlighting yachts, powerboats, sailboats and dinghies. Visitors can check out rare engines, propellers, fish finders and fishing supplies, along with new marine facility plans. Aquatic sporting goods such as canoes, kayaks, wakeboards and windsurfing gear will also be showcased. Conferences, seminars and investment consultations for industry insiders run throughout the course of the show at BEXCO, as well as Best Boat Design Awards and Marine Look Fashion Show events, open to the public.

Meanwhile, floating exhibitions open in Korea's largest marina, Suyeong Bay Yachting Center, offer an incomparable opportunity for boat lovers to step aboard and see the latest innovations. Free shuttles run between BEXCO and the yachting center to help facilitate the rare first-hand experience. The 2015 boat show featured roughly 20 yachts in a wide variety of styles last fall.

"The boat show held last year was a great success with 21,000 visitors," said a representative for the show. "We will prepare a basis to revitalize the domestic marine leisure sports and industry by hosting the show successfully, in line with the increased interest and demand for marine leisure activities."

Organizers will continue to invite locals into the marine leisure in-dustry, in an up close and relaxed atmosphere.

Tickets are 5,000 won, available only at the door, for entrance to both BEXCO and Suyeong Bay Yachting Center. The event is free for students and seniors, veterans, the disabled (and an escort), as well as visitors who present an invitation.
