The 2nd Korea Maritime Safety EXPO has held at BEXCO in Busan from the 26th to the 29th of April, 2016. 

Due to many tragic maritime accidents in 2014 such as Sewol Ferry and 501 Fishing Vessel, People’s needs on reinforcement of maritime safety have been greatly increased. In order to meet these needs and reduce their anxiety, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and Busan Metropolitan City will host Korea Maritime Safety Expo.

By holding Korea Maritime Safety Expo, We will not only help to raise awareness of maritime safety but also restore the nation’s trust through reinforcement of maritime safety policy and technology. This specialized exhibition in maritime safety field will stimulate the maritime economy and establish a business base in the maritime safety industry.

Sponsored by 34 major maritime safety organizations such as Ministry of Public Safety and Security and Republic of Korea Navy, Korea Maritime Safety Expo will be consisted of three categories : The Events for the Prevention of Maritime Casualty and the Promotion of Maritime Safety The Exhibition of Equipment for Maritime (Shipbuilding) Safety and Technology International Maritime Safety Conference A variety of experts and organizations from the government, nstitutions, associations and corporations in the Maritime Safety field will be in attendance.
