KR has opened a ‘KR China Training Center’ and held an official opening ceremony on 20 May 2016.

The training center has been established to reinforce the regional survey competence by enhancing the surveyors’ capability for on-site survey implementation and for achieving survey skills. KR will provide its valued clients with improved survey services thereby increasing the safety of its classed ships and comprehensively meeting its customers’ needs.

The center has been set up in KR’s Ningbo office which is one of the representative KR branch offices, handling surveys for existing ships and managing the Zhoushan region, which is where many of the repair shipyards in China are located.
