On 21 June, Dr. B. S. Park, Chairman and CEO of KR and Mac-Net delivered a keynote speech entitled “Green Wave Challenges or Opportunities for the maritime industry” at the International Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering 2016 (OMAE 2016)

Dr. Park said that recent environmental regulations affecting the maritime industry could provide good opportunities for shipbuilders, shipping companies and manufacturers.

OMAE is a prominent international conference in the shipbuilding and marine sector, organized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and sponsored by Busan National University.  The event attracted more than 1200 experts and participants from around the world and over 800 papers were submitted.
