Introduction of item

The corrosion protection I.C.C.P. system of K.C. Ltd. Is designed based on the total wetted surface area of the hull, including the surfaces of rudders/propellers and mean current density. Its marine growth prevention system (M.G.P.S.) includes ANFOSYS (electric anode type) optimized for flow rates lower than 5,000m3/h.

Designed based on total sea water flow rate and lifetime, KC's anti-fouling system was developed to prevent the adhesion of marine fouling to seawater service lines by using the Cu++ ion produced from a copper anode and anti-corrosive layer of Al2(OH)3 produced by the aluminum anode.

In its product portfolio, K.C. also offers ECHLOSYS(chlorination type) optimized for flow rates higher than 5,000m3/h. The system is designed to prevent the adhesion of marine growths to the internal pipelines of ships through the chemical reaction of chlorine compounds produced from the electrolysis of seawater.
